Dr. Jack Stringham attended the University of Utah. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Exercise Physiology. He attended medical school at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Stringham completed a transitional year internship at Providence Sacred Heart in Spokane, Washington. He then went on to complete his ophthalmology residency and fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida, consistently ranked as the number one eye hospital in the nation. While at Bascom Palmer, he served as chief of residency and director of the ocular trauma service. He has published numerous articles relating to medical and surgical treatments for retinal and vitreous diseases. His practice interests are treating macular degeneration, complex retinal surgeries including retinal detachments, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, and dislocated lenes.
